Filigree Noh Mask Knife, Right-hand
This carving knife features a very fine blade tip honed to an extreme, razor-sharp angle. It is ideal for the final finishing of intricate details—specifically, the side surfaces of openwork areas such as those carved out with a coping saw—that are inaccessible to standard carving knives. Originally designed for carving Noh masks, it proves particularly useful for refining the interior surfaces of nostrils, cord holes, and the sides of the mouth. This knife is single-bevel, and is right-handed.
Please note, you should use and handle this knife with extreme care, as the blade tip is slender and fragile.
Blade Material: High speed steel
Handle Material: Cherry wood
Handle Length: 180 mm
Blade Projection: 40 mm
Blade Width: 6 mm
